At Memixo, we place the utmost importance on the protection of your personal data and the confidentiality of your digital memories. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. Data Collected

We collect the following types of data:

• Content submitted: photos, videos, and written messages that you choose to store in your time capsules.

• Information related to your account (email, name) for managing your personal space.

• Payment data only when creating or deleting time capsules, in order to process secure transactions.

2. Purpose of Collection

The data collected allows us to:

• Create and store your time capsules on our secure servers (Amazon S3 and Glacier).

• Allow you to access your capsules or send them on the chosen date.

• Process payments and capsule deletion requests (with a cost of €5).

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any unauthorized third parties. The only parties we work with are our storage service providers (Amazon) and secure payment processors.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for the duration you selected when creating the capsule. After opening the capsule, your files will be automatically deleted within 14 days. Capsules cannot be edited, but you can delete them and create a new one.

5. Security and Confidentiality

The security of your data is our priority. All capsules are end-to-end encrypted, and no one except you has access to their contents. We are committed to complying with all applicable regulations, including the GDPR for users in Europe.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your data, in accordance with our procedures, and to contact us with any questions regarding the confidentiality of your information.
